You can search by the name of the movie or just by your favorite genre. Movie ratings, reviews, trailers, posters, & more (including even the running time [how long the movie is]) are all here. Yes, there is a $1 service fee for buying your ticket online but you have a guaranteed seat at the time you have chosen.

You can find out which participating theaters are in your area by searching either zip code or city. If, after the show, you come out humming a tune from the movie you can go back to Fandango and buy the cd soundtrack online. If that's not enough, you can even make dinner reservations for after the show!

If the closest theater to you is not one of the ones on the Fandango site, then you might give MovieTickets.com a try.

MovieTickets.com focuses more directly on just the theaters & the tickets themselves but, if you dig for it, you can find the movie ratings, reviews, running time, plot synopsis, etc., just like Fandango.
